Bible Promises

  When We Seek Him

9."And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.
1Chronicles 28:9
22.I was ashamed to ask the king for soldiers and horsemen to protect us from enemies on the road, because we had told the king, "The gracious hand of our God is on everyone who looks to him, but his great anger is against all who forsake him."
Ezra 8:22
18.The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
Psalm 145:18
6.And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:6

The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. 8.Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 9.Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10.Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. 11.If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
1Peter 4:7-11
